SPARKLING WINES
Champagne is a sparkling wine, but it must come from the Champagne region of France, to be called Champagne. The bubbles are formed during a second fermentation process, sealing in the carbon dioxide that is formed when yeast converts sugar into alcohol, making millions of bubbles with no place to go. |
